Data/Mailing Lists

An essential requirement of any successful mailing is good base data. As part of our service we can obtain any type of mailing list, or cleanse yours.

List Supply

• There are multiple suppliers of both business and consumer lists. With your brief we will source the most applicable to your needs.

Address Correction

• Whether a list is your own or bought in, it often needs running against Royal Mail’s Postal Address File to eliminate errors. Errors can be costly, and poorly addressed mail often reduces response.

Data Cleansing

• There are many restrictions now that prohibit mailing to certain people. It is good practice to run your list against various databases such as the Mail Preference Service and Telephone Preference Service if you intend to follow up with a phone call.
• In order to minimise costs you should also run your data against the National Gone Aways File, and probably the Mortification File to avoid embarrassment.

Merge and Purge

• If you have several different data sets, or wish to purchase new data to append, we can automate all these tasks and remove duplicates.

Database Management

• Many of our clients find it convenient to register their data with us so that we may maintain integrity. Your data cannot be tampered with, or corrupted by staff, and we can mail to whom you want, when you want, with what you want. You can delete records or append them at any stage.
